Life is returning to normal in Norway after two long years of COVID. We have started to meet, go out, and not the least, sports events are on, and races are held and planned.
But, this is not the case in all parts of the world. Many are still affected by COVID. There has been a massive Cyclone in Madagascar. Famine due to war in South Sudan. A devastating, incomprehensible invasion of Ukraine. Add the effects of climate change, and we certainly have enough to worry about. We are fully aware that the Norseman crew can´t solve it all, but we will do what we can!
Together with our sponsors and partners, we have made ten (10) more slots available for Norseman 2022. We will use these as a fundraiser for our partner, Doctors Without Borders.
We will have a draw for the slots, and this is how it will work:
- Entering the draw will cost EUR40.
- There can only be one registration per person.
- IMPORTANT: If you win, you use the slot yourself, or you can give it (not sell*) to someone else.
- The person who enters the race will have to pay the regular participation fee (NOK 4000). Norseman will donate this fee to Doctors Without Borders.
- Your donation is (of course) non-refundable.

The Fundraiser will be open until April 10th. The lucky winners should be notified by April 15th at the latest. We will have to know the name of the racer and have received payment by May 1st at the latest.
Athlete Guide.
You or the person you give the slot to have to carefully read and understand our Athlete Guide before registering. We are following the competition rules of The Norwegian Triathlon Federation (NTF). The NTF competition rules adhere to the World Triathlon competition rules. Note that the 2021 athlete guide applies until the 2022 edition is published.
Extra chances.
This Fundraiser has been made possible due to the exceptional times we are living in. This draw is not part of our “annual draw count”. You will not be given extra chances based on your previous Norseman applications, nor will you be given extra chances from this draw for later years if you don´t get a slot for the 2022 race. You need to be ok with this before registering. See our FAQ for information on extra chances.
