Jørgen has been our Chief of Medical crew for more than 10 years. He knows almost everything there is to know about the race. He usually keeps himself quietly in the background, but you can be sure he is there if “shit hits the fan”
For the last 10 years he has worked at the Helicopter Air Ambulance service as a rescue paramedic. As for now, he is working on his PhD, besides doing emergency care work in the ambulance service. Accidents and emergencies is pretty much his daily life, hopefully we will never need this skills at Norseman.
Jørgen lives in Stavern, southern part of Norway. He has done six Ironman Triathlons in Nice France and Cozumel Mexico.
Jørgen has also made several epic photos from Norseman. See some at his blog Melau.no
