With the cold water forcing us to move the swim into warmer waters, making the cycling route 20 km longer. The winds on the plateau was strong. And severe weather on the top of the Gaustatoppen made for a finish at the Gaustablikk Hotell. But as one contestant said “I would have been disappointed if the conditions were not tough”.
